'I don’t think I could have found a nicer place to stay. I was looking for an ‘ away from city’ stay and this ticked all the boxes. Owners are warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful. They live upstairs but interact only if and when you want them to. Nothing is too much trouble. I fed the deer, sheep chickens and quails so if you are an animal person, this is utopia. 'Well first of all there was nothing to dislike. Mill cottage is a very quiet place wonderful for a few days away from town. A true rural environment with everything that you wish for in the way of provisions. The resident cat called kitten is very friendly. We took our dog with us and eventually two of them got on well together! Thanks to the host Amanda this was a wonderful stay. '
