'It was a great experience overall! As the other review and site description states the owner of the house who is really nice lives in the basement and has seperate entrance something to keep in mind. This was not an issue for us.The lack of air conditioning is very noticeable in these hotter months. 'The house looked nice inside. The beds and seating were comfortable. There was trash left on the porch from the last people for both days of our stay. There were 2 towels for 6 people to use and the floors made our feet black from being dirty. Overall not bad for the price though. '

'This was a great little place for my husband and I to stay. Small, but enough space for both of us. We loved how close it was to Garden of the Gods, Pike's peak, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, etc. Property was very clean and had all the basics. 'We stayed with four families and children ranging from 4-15. Everyone had a comfortable bed, places to sit and eat, and plenty of room to spread out! Everyone loved the beautiful outdoor areas with space to explore. The amenities were top notch and everyone appreciated the pool, hot tub, arcade games, foosball, shuffle board, and pool table. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and is well designed for feeding a large group. The owners were excellent to work with and had great communication....

'Absolutely loves staying here'

'The title of this listing was completely accurate! It is a serene and calm backyard surrounded by tall trees, greenery and wild life (some deer and wild turkeys). Was nice to enjoy the patio and we weren’t bothered at all by upstairs owners. Sounds were minimal. Beds were comfortable, clean and pillows were soft. We went to the zoo which was a 10 minute drive including the Broadmoor arena for an event. Great location altogether. Worked perfectly for my son and I. Thank you to our hosts!'

"It’s a beautiful location with one of a kind views. Large and nicely appointed rooms. A/C/heater, fridge and several power outlets did not work. Even after informing the front-desk, these issues were not taken care of. Staff and front-desk manager seem not to care. Because of the great location we nevertheless extended our stay by one night and were told to come back later in the afternoon as we would move to the room above. We were totally fine with this. Upon checking in in the afternoon, front-desk informed us that nok room was available, except for a suite that would be way more expensive. When being overbooked, you expect a hotel to offer the suite at the same rate as the originally booked room. This did not happen, even not after talking to the front-office manager. It’s such a shame for such a beautiful property. If you charge the rates of a 5 star, 5 diamond hotel, then you should also deliver this service standard. With more care, better trained and professional employees and by going above and beyond this can be a great place, but based on our experience we will never come back. "
