'We were low on choices when trying to book for the NHRA event just down the road in Ennis - when we came across this listing. There were VERY few reviews and I hesitated to book, but I'm glad we did. The house is old and solid, clean, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We were too busy to get to enjoy any of the amenities, but the rest of the house was extremely comfortable. 'Its a nice place to stay. It was a reasonable price. Its close to good restaurants and easy access to the 35 so you can get to the bigger cities quickly. Two of the doors inside do not shut completely. They just dont latch. It wasn't a huge deal to us but it might be to some. Also two of the room are partial walls into the living and kitchen area. So if you want or need a lot of privacy this might not be the place for you. We didn't mind and the place was very clean and the decor was very cute....

'I have stayed here several times and I am almost never disappointed. The service at the hotel (on all levels) is excellent. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that every need is met. Our room was very comfortable and the concierge was key to arranging for the hotel car to take us to dinner and get us back to the hotel.'
