'This place never disappoints. It has everything you would need for the perfect vacation at the lake. The location is so quiet and relaxing. This is our 3rd year at this house and we can’t imagine ever going anywhere else. '

'We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again! I was a little skeptical about the shared boat dock and basically the back yard once I realized it was shared. However, the neighbors were very friendly and it really was no issue at all. The home was clean and relaxing! Host was kind and informative. Great place to stay!'

'This was a great property! Beautiful and spacious enough for our family of four. Owner had quick communication when I panicked and could not find the property after GPS took me clear to the other side of town . We didn’t use the dock and such bc 1. I didn’t ask where it was and 2. We were busy and didn’t stay in too much. All in all, No complaints. Would definitely stay again!Thanks for having us!'

'What a great setting for a multigenerational family gathering! The home was clean and exceedingly well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. The dock sits on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and has cleats to tie a rented boat for longer journeys out to the main lake. Game room and lower level rec room provided variety for evening intertainment. Highly recommend!'

'We had a wonderful time during our stay! We enjoyed being out on the water and exploring the different islands Lake Gaston has too ofter. The best part of our stay was hanging out on the amazing screened in porch!!! Whether we were drinking our morning coffee listening to the birds wake up, or smoking dinner on the trager!! We also enjoyed making s’mores and spending quality time with the family around the awesome fire pit! We will definitely be back for another weekend on the lake! Our Host was...

'Great property and location. Plenty of parking even room for a boat trailer if needed. Nice deck area with a great view, dock area much larger than what pics looked like, awesome bluetooth setup with fridge too. Awesome stay!!'

'We are a group of 9 that were in town for a baseball tournament in Roanoke Rapids. The house was a quick 25 minutes to the ball field. While the rest of the team was crammed around a hotel pool, we were relaxing in the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious to cook and had all necessary supplies and even spices. When our tournament ran late, the owners were super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. 'What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!'

'This is a wonderful house for a family vacation. There were 11 of us. There is plenty of room and lots of sleeping space. The house is very well-equipped. It is right on the lake with a nice dock. Swimming is great, and there are two kayaks. It is at the mouth of a cove with easy access to main lake. The host is communicative and check-in and out were very easy. I would definitely come again.'
