'Don’t expect to be able to get any food if you haven’t pre booked it. We travelled from the uk and after a long journey wanted some food and a glass of fizz. Only to be told that wasn’t possible. But a local bar shut in one hour so we needed to be quick. For a place that cost over 330 pounds a night I’d expect a little bit more service. The grounds and the place are beautiful but being able to get basic food and drink has always been staple in France so was very disappointing we couldn’t get...

'Erg prettig hotel zeer schone ruime kamers. Aardige belangstellende staf. Aanrader als overnachtingshotel.'

'Nice overnight stay on the way back from La Bretagne to Germany. Very rural, but great for us cause we travel with dogs. Very friendly and obliging hosts. '

'Logement tres qualitatif, bien equipé, piscine agreable.

'There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....
