'This rental is tucked away in a very small town surrounded by mountains and forest. Peaceful and secluded, but easy enough to travel to a larger town for supplies. The property itself has a strong feeling of a family cabin, which it is, so it's easy to feel right at home. This was our second stay, and very likely not our last. '

'Had a great Long weekend here with my Fiancé and our Best Friends. Great Property. It snowed all weekend and we were happy to be “stuck” in the cabin. Hanging out in the hot tub, grilling good food and chilling being warm by the fire. Honestly would recommend just bringing a bunch of food to stock the fridge and hanging up the keys for the duration of your stay. We brought an Xbox for some streaming and gaming during our lazy weekend. Played board games and cooked every meal. Great time. Great...

'Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest...

'This is a comfy house, very quiet area . Typical rural Vermont house on the new side. Unlike many similar houses i really appreciate the provision of staples for the kitchen, annoying to have to get this for a short trip but this property was well stocked with spices, utensils tea and coffee etc . The owners have been reasonable on this point. Reasonably priced property suitable for a small family. Located about 10 minutes east of St Johnsbury. A couple of nice farm stands nearby.'

'The property was perfect for our 3 week stay! The bed was extremely comfortable ( we are picky) and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I wouldn't recommend for small children, due to the stairs , but our 5 and 6 year old children were quite content and loved the dock for fishing. There's a beach just down the road that y'all can walk to, and lots of dirt roads and trails for hiking and walking. ATVs can be rented from Berlin NH. Mooselook Diner has the best breakfast...

'The location is great if you want to go snowmobiling; its very easy to get onto the VAST trail system from apartment. Unfortunately you need to leave your sled down in the back of the property, but its not very far. The interior of the apartment is very nice as was communicating with the rental agency. The only downside is that you can hear everything that is happening in the upstairs apartment. Every step that someone takes upstairs you can hear and can easily hear people talking as well. '

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lizzie's Place!! We try and find quiet places to stay and enjoy old farmhouses. Lizzie's Place fit the bill!! Just enough communication to make the process seamless. Owners are very nice, and we enjoyed our conversation in the morning. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely come back some day!!! '
