'We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history...

'This property is very clean, secluded for privacy, and has a homey, comfortable feel about it. The output was well stocked with essentials and has lighting. Has easy access to shopping and the airport. Looking for a nice getaway? This is your place!!'

'Laura and Martin have a wonderful get-away. Breakfast, coffee, water and snacks await you upon arrival. The house is clean and the decor provides real Alaskan vibe. I stayed mid-July and the deck and flowers were peaceful and inviting. As hosts,, they are friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone to their lovely Gilmore house. '

'We had an awesome stay at this cabin, it is on a beautiful property and is centrally located between Fairbanks and Chena Hot Springs.We also had a great view at the Northern Lights! Would definitely recommend staying at this property!'

There are a few things I would have liked to know before we arrived, but they would not have deterred us from staying - we just might have been better prepared. 1.
