'Staying at Randy & Kim’s cabin was like a step back in time- we had such a wonderful stay. The cabin was so inviting and comfortable. At night you could step out on the porch and hear the music of the crickets! The cabin was immaculate. The decor was so fitting of a cabin in the country, beautiful. 'This cabin is located on a "still" portion of the New River well above Claytor Lake in Virginia. The property had kayaks, outdoor charcoal grilling and is just across the river from miles of the New River biking trail. The cabin is well maintained, built with quality and full of amenities. During our short stay we saw deer grazing, eagles soaring over the river hoping for a catch and a muskie working the river's edge feeding on small fish in the early morning. 'We loved the river behind the home, its one of the prettiest rivers and so much fun to play in and climb on the big rocks. The grandchildren loved the upstairs playroom and the outside playground with climbing wall, slide & swings!!! The adults loved the large rooms & indoor and outdoor games. It was so well located to walking trails, parks and downtown. This place was amazing. The owner is immediate with communications .'

'My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.'

'Loved my stay here! Nice to come back to a secluded space after a day of hiking. Kitchen was AMAZING and had everything we needed. From spices to all the pans and appliances we needed. Master bed was very comfy. Loved looking at the stars by the fire pit. Brought my dog and there was a fee that I didn't see on the listing, but she also enjoyed her stay!
