'The room that was assigned smelled horrible and it went down from there it took several rooms to find one that didn't have me sick because of the smell from the original room # 200. I'm extremely disappointed with my stay especially because we were here to bury a love one.I will be contacting corporate office regarding this stay and disputing the charges that was put on my card.'

'Room are wack and dirty carpet should be vacuumed, bugs in rooms, towels have stains, check your covers, dead and alive bugs in rooms, fridge works, latch on doors don’t mean privacy cuz they come into your room even when locked, invade privacy, says no smoking but my first night it had a bag over the smoke detector already, and the people that live there smoke inside the rooms as well, so that’s doesn’t mean anything, if house keeping was done properly it’d be a okay room, pool stays closed,...

'Roaches in the room. Pubic hairs on the toilet seat. The breakfast that was to be included was a bag. When stuff is under construction, should be noted when making reservations. Should had not been charged for this poorly maintained and cleaned room.'

'Echt een hotel in de middle of nowhere. Kamer was wel recentelijk opgeknapt en zag er netjes uit. Restaurant hebben ze niet en ook geen ontbijt of koffie maar er zitten diverse restaurants in de omgeving. Er zaten wel een hoop werklui en gezinnen in de kamers, het leek wel of ze daar ook woonde.'

'We enjoyed our stay. There was a mix up and we never received a code to open the gate. We arrived early but took quite a while to receive a call back. After we received the call all went smooth. Place is beautiful however did find small dog poop under island on wheels!'

'We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the Piney Woods. The host and staff are so easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs in the fire pit and visiting nearby state and local parks. '

'The house was great but the lawn needed to be mowed. Walking through tall grass to get into the house was not good. The inside of the house was very clean and neat.'

'Winnsboro Lake Retreat was very relaxing. The interior of the house was spotless. Every we needed and more was at our disposal. Beds were comfortable and the view out at the lake was great. We were a little disappointed that the dock was not usable. We were not informed before our stay about this condition and we should have been. We did not swim as the area looked unsafe to be in the water. Overall our stay was very nice.'
