'The home is beautiful. We loved the porch and the furniture. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and very nice. BE AWARE: the steps to the lake are VERY STEEP and DANGEROUS. There is no railing. Some people might be ok with it but we are not elderly or infirm and did not feel comfortable at all walking there. We had a wonderful time relaxing, playing games and enjoying the area. '

'When we arrived everything was clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully decorated (loved the retro kitchen). We loved the pool (was super warm to swim) and the view (great for people watching if you’re like me ). We even got to see some cool lightning and thunderstorms on the lake. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the boat traffic from the condo. The bed was comfortable. The parking lot was well lit. I felt safe staying here. 'It was wonderful. Well equiped kitchen. Nice dock. Plenty of kayak, paddle boards, canoes. Great swimming areas, with shallow places for kids. Media room was a hit for kids when it rained or they were tuckered out. Beautiful place. We plan to go back. Perfect place for a family reunion'

'This was a great stay for 15 guys on a bachelors trip. The house was amazing, we fished on the dock, and it wasn’t far from the bridgewater plaza. The only thing was we had to buy our own paper towels and toilet paper. '

'We went for our honeymoon. The room was thoughtfully stocked with coffee and snacks. There was a lot of board games in the room and a small kitchen area with a dishwasher. The building was secure and there were many amenities available. We spent most of our time on the water and dining out at several of the local restaurants.'

'Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. The management team is responsive and delightful. A great place for a family vacation. '

"One night stay here prior to a flight from DC the next day. Pleasant, modern hotel. Friendly check-in staff. Excellent breakfast. Easy parking. Not much to do nearby the hotel - the Mexican restaurant was mediocre. Would return if I was in the area."
