'The owner bent over backwards for our every request and inquiry. The house was beautiful inside and out. There was every small appliance and utensil you could ask for. The bedrooms were perfect for a large family. Very close to a great beach. The outdoor shower was a big hit. '

'Perfect size for our family of 12 in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and great privacy in backyard with tall vinyl fencing and lots of mature surrounding trees. Property could use a little maintenance, but the property manager was very responsive to our requests.'

'Our family had a wonderful time staying here with easy access to Junction City, Fort Riley, Manhattan, and Abilene. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is convenient and quiet with just a little noise from passing traffic on I-70. '

'The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.'

'Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!'

'We planned on staying in Manhattan to visit our son who is stationed at Ft. Riley. It was a 28 min drive and is pretty close. We were able to travel back and forth with ease. The house was updated and clean. It was perfect for resting and relaxing. We didn't use the kitchen for eating but it was stocked with everything you would need.
