'York Cove Hotel is in a very picturesque location, across the cove from George Town. It is a self-managed hotel so there is no one on the premise to help you but the manager answered the phone since I didn’t receive any check in information ahead. The pool was not in operation but the room and bathroom is very spacious and clean. The area is beautiful, nice place to relax for a few days.'

'Spending a couple of days in a historic cottage was fantastic, the modern inclusions a bonus. We stayed in one of the Boatman’s cottages constructed in 1860 which features a separate bedroom, lounge, dining room/kitchen and bathroom, the gas fire in the lounge kept us toasty warm as did the wall heaters in bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The whole precinct was a joy to stay in as was the surrounding village of Low Head. The on site cafe had very good meals. We loved the ability to order a heat...
