'It is a short distance from the beach where we surfed the entire 5 days of our stay there and all the shops and restaurants in Tamarindo. Price of food at restaurants was extremely overpriced and I appreciated that the apartment has all the basics to cook a meal. AC worked great, nice small but clean pool. Also had parking available and staff was very accommodating. I hated the noisy metal framed stairs to the loft and we can hear the next door "neighbors" go up and down plus their voices...

'Beautiful private development that is somewhat isolated and on a steep hillside. Depending on location of your villa, there may be quite a climb to get up from beach/pool/restaurant. We took taxis/uber to get to town for other food and other beach. '

'Spectacular view, well equipped kitchen (we cooked every night except 2 of our 8 nights), beautiful sunsets and responsive/accommodating host who coordinated our activities and driver. We rented a car in Liberia to get to the house and drive in the immediate Playa Flamingo area, but a driver was such a great choice for our excursions due to the places we toured and cell service is intermittent, at best, for gps. Johnny was our driver and guide for 4 days - he was great and we learned so much...

'We had a wonderful stay! The home is beachfront, so we enjoyed peaceful walks every morning and watched the beautiful sunsets every evening. We even spotted monkeys playing in the trees above the pool, which was such a fun surprise for the whole family. Jonathan was incredibly helpful—he arranged our airport transfers and golf carts, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Lorena was absolutely amazing. It was quite modern with many amenities, including everything needed to cook in the kitchen, plenty of towels for the private pool & bathing, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, washer/dryer, and more. 'My family and I had the BEST time!!! Patrick was awesome. He helped with arranging any tours we wanted, pointed us on where to eat, and where to go if we needed anything. The house was unbelievable. Plenty of space for the seven of us, gorgeous views...everthing we could ask for. And the daily breakfasts were sooooo good. I can't say enough good things about Patrick and the Red Sunset. It is truly the best!!!'
