'We are gluten free and dairy free and the front desk staffer was very helpful in getting us ingredient information about the breakfast cereal options offered so we could make healthy choices. The egg whites and sausage were good choices for us too. The room was clean but the carpet needed updating as there were several dark stains that made it feel like it wasn't. Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable!'

'The room was clean and spacious. The accommodation does not look neat from the outside. But the room itself is completely fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioning makes a lot of noise. Still a good hotel to stay as a stopover.'

'This place is ok. We were assigned a room right next to the elevator so I went to the desk and asked to be moved away from the elevator. I was told that the only other King bed room was one floor up, also next to the elevator. Hmmm. Really? So I asked about two queens. She could not change me to a different type of room. Hmmm. Really? It turned out to be a non-issue because the elevator broke a couple of hours after we got there and stayed "out-of-order" for about a day and a half. We didn't eat...

'We were out in the area that was recently remodeled. It was very and roomy. Much better than anticipated!!'

'Crickets in bed rooms. Management told me it was my fault for opening the door! Funny thing is when we first walked in the crickets greeted us . Pool water was dirty. Could not see the bottom. Didn't swim because we weren't sure the water was safe. Will never stay at Hotel Cricket" again.'

'The Loft was clean, comfy, convenient, cozy, quiet, and cute!! Had everything we needed. A perfect blend of vintage and modern. A 15-20 minute drive to Mammoth Cave. Just steps away from fun/friendly night life and dining. Excellent coffee shop (Ace Coffe) within walking distance. No problems checking in and great communication with the owner. Would stay again in a heartbeat.'

'The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost '

'Tonya was an INCREDIBLE host! We wish we’d planned to stay more nights! Next time we will! Loved the horses and Dragonfly Ranch! Our family will definitely be back for a longer stay!!!'

'Host made false claims and tried to extort extra money out of me. Even threatened me with the police with no proof of said claims. Shame because it is a beautiful place.'

'The cabin was clean and in a good location for what we were looking for. The cabin could use a little TLC with a few minor maintenance issues but overall a nice stay'
