'The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. 'It was an overall positive experience. A nice area and not too far from I-65. No complications. A comfortable bed. Couch was a bit hard, but other than that, I would still recommend Horse Cave Motel.'

'Chose to stay here on our trip to visit Mammoth National Park. Was an eaay and close location. Love motels and this one was very clean and they even upgraded our room to a king for free and already couldn't beat the price. '

'The pool area needed work. Its an indoor pool that needed the AC fixed. It was a sauna in there. Also the bottom of the pool looked like it had mildew on it.'

there is no continental breakfast (they can't take it down), so don't take it out on them because you're cranky. just go get some coffee. It's good, tastes like mcdonalds black, and IYKYK, go get some creamer if from the casey's...

'Our stay at the hotel was really quite nice for one night. I was cold throughout the night because they only had one blanket and I didn’t wanna trouble the front office for another one. But the front office Bobby and Ishi Social media were super cool and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them and getting to know them. I will stay there again, but probably in the summer when I could use the air conditioning! Lol'
