'Cherokee villages was a special place where the property felt like a wildlife sanctuary with trails leading down to the lake and a boat dock. Good for any number of guests. Came with my husband and dog and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Looks like a great place to have a family reunion with a great covered community space with lots of tables and activities for kids and adults. 'Had a quick trip out to Lake Whitney for a visit. Needed a place to overnight and found this place. Worked out for our needs. It sits out about 10 minutes east/northeast of Whitney on some caliche roads. Was peaceful and relaxing after a day of running around. Nice view and quiet.
