'Loved our stay at Eden Garden whilst visiting the cultural triangle. Room clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were excellent. Helped us organise trips in the area (Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and Eco-park safari) as well as onward transport to our next destination. Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was served with a smile and tasted amazing. Highly recommend rice and curry (various choices), served with different vegetable side dishes and sambal. 'Selvi , Abi and Madhu deserve to be recognised for their amazing service from the time we arrived for our 4 night stay , the girls were always smiling always helpful, we loved the daily towel art in our very clean and cool air conditioned room , then we enjoy the lovely pool and then we were spoilt rotten every morning with the delicious traditional Sri Lanka breakfasts , we give this hotel 6 stars '

'The welcome at Sundaras Resort & Spa was friendly and warm. Our rooms however clearly had not been cleaned in a while. We came with reasonably high expectations of this four-star resort, but wound up feeling a bit disappointed with the state of the resort. 'Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here.'

'Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.'

'Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return.'
