'The location and views are undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest points — the scenery is magnificent and the setting is beautiful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to what we expected for the price. We paid around £280 per night for 3 nights, which was over ₹100,000, and for that price the rooms and general finish felt very dated and poorly maintained. The furniture was old, the flooring was damaged in places, and some of the switches and fittings were visibly coming...

'The most beautiful resort! Staff was wonderful and the views were amazing! Rooms were big and so nice! Very tasty and big breakfast.'

'I’ve travelled quite a bit, but I honestly haven’t stayed at a place that felt as much like home as 1924 Clock House. ❤️ The views are absolutely spectacular, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service is in a class of its own. Also loved the location! It was not just quiet and secluded, but...

'The views were spectacular, the food was amazing, the people were incredibly friendly and helpful.'

'Nice hotel except for their confusing lift system. There are 4 different lifts in the hotel for different levels and that’s really confusing. Other than that it’s a nice well kept property with excellent staff. Pleasant stay overall.'

'Great Experience'

'Prachtig gelegen, geweldige service en vriendelijk personeel. Dagprogramma is inbegrepen, hartstikke leuk!'

'Hotel rooms/lodges are spread in a big garden. It is good quality but to expensive. Problem is you don't have much choice if you want quality in Thekkady. Food is good. Staff in reastaurant a bit unfriendly. (cooks are good and friendly) You have a nice swimmingpool and a bar with big Pool table. Most amazing thing was in January just after sunrise thousand of FOX bats (1 meter big) are flying low over the trees. Sit at swiming pool have a beer and watch the sky. Guide we had to go Periyar parc...
