'It is a nice rustic cabin to stay in, but it has the amenities you need, including good Wi-Fi - as long as a teenager doesn't unplug the router to plug in a fan. We used it as a base camp to fish area lakes, but it would be a good place to take a smaller outdoor oriented family. There's a lot of yard and a really nice lake with very nice sandy bottom and relatively good fishing.'

'The Robin's Nest yurt was the perfect home base for the holiday weekend while hanging out with family and friends in the area! Really cool space, climate controlled, and the amenities are awesome. Will definitely be back!'

'We had a truly wonderful and peaceful stay at this cabin. The location is incredibly pristine — deep in the woods, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing retreat. The cabin itself was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a clean, inviting hot tub/jacuzzi. We even saw deer nearby, which added to the charm.The nearby lake is beautiful, with crystal-clear water. We loved that it was private and had free access to canoes and kayaks. There’s also a connected lake that felt even more secluded...

'Highly recommend! It is true “glamping” with all the amenities of a hotel room, but a lake view from the master bedroom in the morning is amazing. Very attentive host, all the utensils you need, Keurig coffee maker, full bath with plenty of hot water & lake access. Beautiful sitting areas by the lake, plenty of fire pits & outdoor games. We will be booking here again and the outdoor experience with perfect location from Grand Rapids is worth it! '

'Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!'

'Beautiful historic log cabin with all the amenities you would want. The grounds are well kept and very scenic. The area is very peaceful, relaxing, and interesting. This is our second year coming to the Marcel Lodge and have had a fantastic experience both times.'

'The house is large and comfortable. Fabulous kitchen with huge island. Kitchen furnished very nicely. Loft was very cozy & comfortable. Nice sized bedrooms & bathrooms. Master suite is huge. Great whole house sound system. House location made for easy access with minimal traffic. Not on water, but very short walk to nice beach/recreation area. Host communicated very well. Would definitely stay here again. '

'We enjoyed our stay with family. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the private beach/lake area. There was plenty of room for every one in our group and we would definitely stay here again.'

'We had the most amazing trip. The fishing was great. Went swimming. Made campfires went to the Antler Store for ice cream. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is beautiful with plenty of room for our family of four and dog. Plenty of area for the dog to run around and play and swim. We can’t say enough good things about Rachel she was so helpful and quick to respond to the many questions we had. 'We enjoyed a great time with our family at the cottage. We had so much fun around the fire pit with the beautiful river view. So peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed playing games and grilling and sitting on the deck. Everything was comfortable and accommodating. Communication was perfect. Our stay was short but everyone had a great time.'

'The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. '

'Had an excellent stay here with some friends for a milestone birthday!! The property delivered as listed and did not disappoint. There is plenty of space to accommodate a group across a variety of weather conditions. Access, location on the lake and proximity to a boat launch made for some enjoyable days out on the lake. Chris is always very responsive should you have any questions or need anything. '
