'Well before my one night stay, the owner was in contact with me about the rules and things to do around Point Pleasant. Check in was painless and easy.During my stay they offered some free food while i was there, the blueberry muffins they made were amazing.Highly recommended for a warm welcome and stay.'

'Our stay was amazing. The house was an amazing mixture of Mothman fandom and antiques. I loved both. All the beds were so comfortable. We felt so welcomed. Our hosts thought of evverything. We loved that they had a selection of mothman movies to watch and they even had a little corner in the home where we could purchase mothman merch! Such a great idea. Thank you for making everything so wonderful for us.'

'Our time in Vinton County was nothing short of fabulous. The Shea Farmhouse was lovely. Perfect size, ample amount of room for myself and 2 teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped for vacation. While we are very used to old homes, some may need to know before you go in order to have a happy stay like we did.Pros: *The property was so lovely, loads of green space for baggo/corn toss, running around, walking, bird watching, enjoying the light show of fireflies, nightly orchestral music...

'We stayed the weekend, during the Mothman Festival (only 25 minutes away). It was clean and adorable, could easily fit 6 people comfortably, and the woods around it are beautiful and quiet.'

'Our stay was everything we had imagined and more. Peaceful setting, clean and comfortable home. The hosts thought of everything a guest would need. We would 100% stay here again. The game room and disc golf were loads of fun. Not many pictures because when we weren’t hiking we were busy playing games'

'Our family of 6 spent a weekend there with plans to go hiking in the area. We were near enough to Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave and Lake Hope too. It was perfect for us! The former schoolhouse had lots of touches that appealed to me especially as a retired teacher. Really fun atmosphere. The amenities were just right. Beds and rooms were super comfortable. The outdoor seating with a grill and hot tub on the patio were used a lot on our stay! There was also a fire pit with 6 Adirondack...
