'My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

'We were able to lounge on the boat and the dock. We got in the water with the pups and also hung out on the deck area while having our Bolivar Bakery breakfast and coffee. '

'We could not have found a better place for three childhood friends to reunite! The home has everything you need and Jay is extremely responsive. A true home away from hom. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and are already making plans to come back in the fall. '

'This home was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, very close to all things. We had a fantastic time.'

'This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. '

'Ethan and his wife are awesome host! Asked for early check in of 1pm and they allowed it no issues, or extra fees. Quiet and secluded which is exactly what I was looking for. '

'This property was quite wonderful. Nice and quiet. An abundance of wildlife visited while we were there. Deer with their babies chipmunks, plenty of birds. I even had a coyote run across the backyard. The property was literally 20 minutes from everywhere. A nice added touch was that there was only TV in the bedrooms. The sun room and deck were great to just sit and relax. Highly recommend booking this property if you just want to get away for a weekend wind down '

'This is an amazing property, just as listed. Clean, spacious, gracious hosts that leave snacks and fresh baked cookies. Thoughtful baskets of necessities just in case you forgot something. Fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. Games and books galore! We had a group of 9 teachers on summer break that needed a place to relax and have fun together! 'This house is the perfect place for family bonding. Our extended family came together from NJ, FL, VA, MD and NC. The original intent was to check off a Bucket List item to hike 20 miles on the AT. That was accomplished but the real reward was enjoying all the house amenities afterwards. Lounging in the heated plunge pool was great for the tired muscles and then sitting around the fire pit for everyone to share their experiences on the trail brought lots of laughs and commiserating!'

'The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.'

'Beautiful views of the river. The house had everything we needed and was plenty big for 8 people. The nature walk down to the river isn’t for the weak hearted but totally doable with some hiking boots. We loved our stay and would do it again. '
