'Wat een heerlijk verblijf was dat en wat een fijne eigenaar met duidelijke uitleg over alles! Ontbijt was erg goed, zeker voor Amerikaanse begrippen '

'Idyllische plek en leuk om wat langer te blijven. Galena is zeker de moeite waard. Wij waren op doorreis en konden daardoor niet van alle faciliteiten profiteren. Wel hadden we in mei veel last van de muggen (in het Engels ‘Gnats’).'

'Rooms were cozy and beautiful the two bedroom kitchenettes were wonderful and spacious for my family. The one bed room was nice a little small to cook but nice and comfy. '

'Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. '

'This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again!'
