'The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The couch was not very comfortable. The fireplace is not really a fireplace. The restaurant wouldn’t seat us the evening we checked in. They said they were too busy, but most of the tables were open and there was a band playing. They said we could order takeout. Very strange.'

'We stayed in Galena for the Great Galena Balloon Race and this place was conviently close to the event field and to the historical attractions that we wanted to see. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and we really enjoyed our stay. Wish we had more time so we could visit the recreation center where the pool is. We definitely recommend this place!'

'I thoroughly enjoyed my three-night stay at this property. It was very inviting when I first opened the door, very bright, clean and welcoming. Everything was provided that a person could think of for kitchen meal preparation and bathroom use. The bed was very comfortable as well as the furniture in the living area. The sliding door opens to a comfortable patio that is perfect for morning coffee, reading, watching golfers pass by or having an evening glass of wine or cocktail. It's so peaceful...

'You can't find a better location if you want to be in the heart of downtown Galena for a reasonable price. The air conditioning is a window unit in the front room, but the host provides plenty of fans. There are two bedrooms, but the first has cut-outs in the upper walls, and the second doesn't have a door right now, so privacy is limited. The living/dining area is very spacious and comfortable.'
