'Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Heating was amazing, and the place was so cozy. Only downfall was the standup piano and my daughter thinking she was John Legend so having to listen to that all night did my head in. 'This property was the ice cream to our trip- the property was beautifully built, maintained and allows for the best possible mountain view from the base. The service was beyond attentive and the room was like out of a magazine. If you’ve got the money- splurge and do it! Watching the first snow fall from the panoramic windows was one of the highlights of our trip! '

'It’s just beautiful. They have a shuttle to the ski areas that aren’t walkable. Free shuttle from and to the train station. They were very friendly and helped me set up my luggage transportation to the next ski location. '

"Prijs kwaliteitsverhouding onder de maat; een gedateerd hotel van de jaren tachtig met veel vlekken op de vloerbedekking van gangen en kamers; matige Wifi en gedateerd airco systeem; badkamer verouderd. Rest van faciliteiten okay en ontbijt goed. Baliemedewerkers waren mijn boeking kwijt wat meer dan een half uur heeft geduurd om het op te lossen. Organisatie niet op orde: veel gasten moesten soms een uur staand wachten voor ze konden inchecken waaronder 80 plussers."
