'We had a birthday celebration for our mother at the home. Everything was great! There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the property. The weather was great so some family members spent time reading outside in the screened-in gazebo. The children played on the playground, and it was nice for them to have a place to play safely. 'This place is extremely impressive and was clearly made for parties. We stayed 4 nights for a 50th birthday with a mix of 12-14 friends, relatives and kids. The main house is very nice, clean, and air conditioned, and was perfect to allow kids and people wanting to go to bed earlier to get a great nights sleep and be happy. 'We had a fantastic stay! The host was very accommodating and made check-in incredibly easy—allowing us to arrive much earlier than the usual time, which we really appreciated. The property layout was perfect for our group, with a separate unit that offered added privacy for some family members. The kitchen was impressively stocked, including three refrigerators and all the pots, pans, utensils, and plates we needed (though the can openers didn’t work, it wasn’t a big deal).The hot tub was warm...

'The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.'
