'We loved the view, the owner, and the general setup. However, the A/C didn’t work, which made us open the windows and doors more, which meant there were bugs everywhere. There was also a trick to getting hot water in the shower, which required sacrificing water pressure. We also struggled to get the front door the close and the owner had to show us a trick. Our stay was also majorly impacted by rowdy neighbors and extremely thin walls. My kids thought I had friends in our suite because it was so...

'De finca en de kamers zijn werkelijk prachtig en alles gloednieuw. De gastvrouw is heel attent en doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. De kamer is al heel compleet ingericht met een koffiezetapparaat, glazen etc. Maar toen ze had gezien dat er een flesje whiskey van ons stond, waren daar spontaan 2 whiskeyglazen bijgezet. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid met versgebakken brood, beleg, fruit, eieren etc. Heerlijk!'

'Alexandra went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She made a fruit smoothie and coconut snack as a welcome treat. The Tico studio was very functional and fit the jungle environment. The bed was very comfortable and with the sound of the rain I fell asleep quickly and awoke refreshed. Honestly the best sleep and rest if the trip. Alexandra made empanadas and tea for breakfast. Totally unexpected as the description didn't indicate that breakfast was included.'
