The hotel is conveniently located if you are visiting Tenorio Volcano and Río Celeste, although it is not right next to the main road. You have to drive about 10 minutes from the main road to reach the property. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so if you don't plan to have dinner at the hotel, you'll need to drive back to the main road to find somewhere to eat. 'Cabanas Los Laguitos is a little heaven in earth, it is where you can connect to nature and to experience the real rainforest in Costa Rica. Host are great, welcome, friendly, warm, real people with no agenda other than to ensure you are feeling like home!!
You are 5 mins driving distance to volcán Tenorio, Rio Celeste waterfalls and river. The horse ridding tour is a real adventure!!

'Great place to stay for a week. It might not be the Ritz hotel but if you have a large group you won't find better value on lodging anywhere. The rooms are built fairly critter repelling, but the first night a little green frog got in. I don't mind frogs though, it's Costa Rica after all! Pura Vida!'

'I thought paradise meant white sand beaches, but now it’s been redefined. The attention to detail inside and out was absolutely outstanding. Such a lovely home and gorgeous property. The hosts were amazing and attentive—so generous with how they stocked the home, including eggs, bread, snacks, and more as well as advice and quickly answering questions.
