'Prima hotel, met nette grote kamers en airco. We hadden uitzicht op het heerlijke zwembad. Daar hebben we zowat zonder andere gasten gebruik van gemaakt. Het was erg rustig, zonde want het hotel is prima en het personeel super vriendelijk. Ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid.'

'Eerste indruk negatief: onvriendelijk onthaal (wat een contrast met al die vriendelijke, vrolijke Ticos die we de voorbije 20 dagen mochten ontmoeten), koude, klamme kamer, geen andere gasten, te duur hotel voor wat het was, dure avondmenu (die we niet probeerden). Na 2 dagen wel enthousiaster, vriendelijke garçon, die overdag tuinman is in het hotel en die na aandringen open haard aanstak voor ons en wat meer vertelde over de historiek van het hotel,mooi interieur, mix van nieuw strak en oud...

'Because our flight arrived in the evening we tried to pick a hotel with a costa rican touch near the airport. We selected the adventure inn and it worked out beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, ten minutes from the airport (pick up from hotel available), safe neighbourhood with a couple of good restaurants nearby and in the hotel itself. 'The absolute warmest people - that's what stood out to me the most. It's such a treat to get to sit at the breakfast table with Laurie, to hear her stories of a life well lived and to share my own. The breakfast was outstanding, made with love by Miriam who is so gentle and kind. The B&B is clean, cozy and well located. I took a long stroll around the neighborhood which was lush and quiet. An overall excellent experience. '
