'bij het ontbijt kreeg je 1 sneetje brood en als je om meer vroeg dan moest er 3 dollar voor 1 sneetje bij betaald worden. De 1 na laatste dag kwam de insectenbestrijding, terwijl we een dag later zouden vertrekken met als gevolg het hele huisje onder de kakkerlakken. Het strand was verwaarloosd. Het hele huisje was niet goed onderhouden. Wel een goede ligging bij het strand, maar helaas wordt daar weinig meegedaan. Er zou een hele hoop meer mee gedaan kunnen worden met dit complex.'

'My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you don’t speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great....

'We were greeted when we pulled up and helped with our luggage. Check in was easy. The staff extremely helpful and nice. We were given a tour of the property while our luggage was taken to our room. There were bikes to use as you wanted. A nice swimming pool. Surf boards for lessons. A surf school on property. The room was large and clean. The AC only in the bedroom. Coffee maker. Dishes/glassware. We had reusable water bottles waiting for us in our room. Pack this souvenir on your way...

'This is an excellent experience. All the staff was incredibly helpful, the room was impeccable, the restaurant was delicious, and the amenities were exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the small details—sweet treats in the afternoon, watermelon water, post surf showers. Also shout out to Carlos, our surf instructor, for getting us up on boards immediately, his storytelling, and his unfettered joy.'

'The Silvestre is a beautiful boutique hotel, perfectly located in Guiones, just across from the beach and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and cute grocery stores. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The rooftop lounge, coffee bar, and pool are a great place to sit back and relax. Definitely deserving of its Michelin rating! They even give you a goodbye gift of delicious local coffee. Angel, Israel, and Paul are a joy to interact with....

'We did not even stay the night here despite losing money. It was run down, property did not match the description of being on beach but was a long walk away. Beds were hard and there was a dog running free throughout. I cannot recommend this place unless you simply want a cheap bed. The ad needs to properly represent the facility. It's a hostel, not a lodge ,as well.'
