'bij het ontbijt kreeg je 1 sneetje brood en als je om meer vroeg dan moest er 3 dollar voor 1 sneetje bij betaald worden. De 1 na laatste dag kwam de insectenbestrijding, terwijl we een dag later zouden vertrekken met als gevolg het hele huisje onder de kakkerlakken. Het strand was verwaarloosd. Het hele huisje was niet goed onderhouden. Wel een goede ligging bij het strand, maar helaas wordt daar weinig meegedaan. Er zou een hele hoop meer mee gedaan kunnen worden met dit complex.'

'For the money, ESH is a great deal. Very upscale, quiet, and the entire staff will accommodate every need or request at all times. It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds. '

The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you select some great adventures without getting ripped off. The food is top notch (and reasonably priced). 'This place was the cherry on top for our Costa Rican adventure. It was a perfect place to end our trip since it was the nicest hotel we stayed at and they had ALL the amenities and the location was ideal. The food at the restaurant was delicious as well. I cannot wait to go back!'
