'bij het ontbijt kreeg je 1 sneetje brood en als je om meer vroeg dan moest er 3 dollar voor 1 sneetje bij betaald worden. De 1 na laatste dag kwam de insectenbestrijding, terwijl we een dag later zouden vertrekken met als gevolg het hele huisje onder de kakkerlakken. Het strand was verwaarloosd. Het hele huisje was niet goed onderhouden. Wel een goede ligging bij het strand, maar helaas wordt daar weinig meegedaan. Er zou een hele hoop meer mee gedaan kunnen worden met dit complex.'

'Prachtig uitzicht en heel vriendelijk personeel. De ribben in het restaurant zijn overroepen - 3 stuks voor heel veel geld dus niet nemen. De rest was uitstekend'

'We had a great time end of July 2019 at the gilded iguana! Very attentive staff (Loren/ Irene), lovely location in walking distance to the Beach and excellent food!! Rooms are amazing in both design and space and a Pleasure to stay in. For sure we will come Back. '

'Nosara oldest development, this place is quirky and wonderful. Probably the best property in Nosara with a short walk to both Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and uniquely late 1970s architecture. '

'Yoga heaven on earth. The moment I arrived I felt a nervous system reset. Very well kept and beautifully landscaped grounds- loved my king room - it was all perfect. Yoga all day, every day. Restaurant food only down side- they have a menu but I would recommend restaurants off property for dinner. Tuk tuk easy enough to get around. Beach didn’t seem worth going to, I’m not swimming with crocodiles. '

'Tierra Magnifica was absolutely amazing! From the peaceful nature all around us to the kind, attentive staff and the amazing room! The staff went above and beyond for absolutely everything - booking our custom excursion to even getting us a breakfast burrito delivered by the security guard at 2am because we had to drive back to San Jose that early. 'Great location at Samara. We had booked a room with balcony looking out to the street not realizing it’s a busy street. We got upgraded to a bigger room with pool view without any request. We appreciated that very much as e were tired that day. The ac in the room worked excellent, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Parking is across the street.
