'I took my 2 daughter to La Fortuna for a 5 day and we stayed at Kaylor place. We loved the volcano in the background of his place!!! We loved what his place had to offer! 'We loved our stay here! 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a non-hotel option to call home at the end of a day of adventures. It's just the right amount of secluded and off the beaten path, while still feeling safe and incredibly homey. It has everything you need inside, we loved the screened in porch to relax on at the end of the night too. It gets quite toasty inside while you're gone without the AC on but luckily there are two ACs to really pump out the cold air and cool things off....

'Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.'

'What a beautiful place. We felt so special and welcome. The grounds are impressive and clean. Each day the pool area gets cleaned . We had ladies fix our meal 2x and the prices were very reasonable. There is someone on the grounds who would help us with anything. Everything we did was close by.'

'We stayed here from 5/17/24 - 5/22/24. We were 8 adults total. The house is very nice. It was very warm when we first arrived. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We found out quickly if you open the bedroom doors it helps to cool the rest of the house. The house was well equipped with kitchen items and we were able to cook a few meals.
