The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

'Our drive there took longer than expected so we were exhausted when we arrived! It was so clean and had all that we needed to relax. The hot tub was a bonus as we were sore and tired and the view is beautiful! I definitely recommend this place!'

'I really can't say enough about our stay on the 'farm'. First off, the owners (who also live on the property) are such fantastic people. Friendly, respectful, and kind. The accommodations were first rate, very clean and comfortable. The setting is quiet and peaceful. We both loved it and hated to leave. '

'This place was amazing. Not too far from La Fortuna, but wow! What a view! Brian was fantastic to deal with. An expat with the best communication you could ask for. I felt like I had a million questions about Costa Rica in general and he was quick to answer them in detail. The property is top notch, the best my family has ever stayed at. If you want a relaxing stay in Costa Rica that isn't too far from the attractions near La Fortuna, I would advise you stay here!'

'This property is amazing, if you are looking for a quiet place sorrounding by nature. The house has everything that you need and more, really well maintained uniy. The communication with Fabricio (property manager) was outstanding. He even offer us a huge list of things to do and always was kind and helpful for our questions. We will come back to Casa Vista Verde for sure!!!'

'We loved everything about our stay here. Check in was easy. The house was clean on arrival. Was stocked with everything we may need. Everything worked well including washer and dryer. The best part was the back patio and the view (when the clouds break) along with the sounds of nature. Loved the location. Definitely need a car if staying here but a short 5-10 minute drive and you are in the heart of La Fortuna. I would definitely stay here again!'

'The owner was very responsive and helpful. He gave us advice on restaurants things to do in the area and how to get places. Everything he recommended was the best and spot on. It was a very authentic and comfortable house with everything you’d need. There were 3 twin beds, one queen and a couch that made to a twin so plenty of room for 6.
