'We use this house as a home base while we travel Around Costa Rica. Sleeping accommodations and showers were great. It is a pretty safe place with lots of birds, squirrels, etc. up in the trees outside the house.The host was amazing!Thank you!E. Chanto'

'This was the last property we stayed at before leaving Costa Rica and it was beautiful. This was much bigger than 2 persons needed but it was beautiful! Its used for events and definitely is above and beyond. The hosts were very nice and provided great advice on local places to eat. Very nice location too. Had a great view of the city from above. Would recommend this place.'

'I arrived at the location based on the Vrbo website for the property at around 5:00PM. I could not find the property at that location. I asked 2 people on the street and they were unaware of anything like it nearby. I attempted to call the number listed mulitple times but could never get through to Nidia. I finally gave up and found another location to stay at for the night. I did get a reply back from Nidia almost two hours later but by then it was to late. Property looked nice by the photos...

'Eindelijk een hotel dat moeite doet om anders te zijn. Mooie ruime kamer met prachtig uitzicht en unieke bakamer! Het domein is mooi en groot genoeg om minstens een volle dag te relaxen. Rustige en ontspannen sfeer. Prachtige tuinen. Erg lekker gegeten in het restaurant en genoten van het prachtige uitzicht. Ideale afsluiter van onze reis doorheen Costa Rica'

'Eerste indruk negatief: onvriendelijk onthaal (wat een contrast met al die vriendelijke, vrolijke Ticos die we de voorbije 20 dagen mochten ontmoeten), koude, klamme kamer, geen andere gasten, te duur hotel voor wat het was, dure avondmenu (die we niet probeerden). Na 2 dagen wel enthousiaster, vriendelijke garçon, die overdag tuinman is in het hotel en die na aandringen open haard aanstak voor ons en wat meer vertelde over de historiek van het hotel,mooi interieur, mix van nieuw strak en oud...
