'The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested.
However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day.'

'A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall.'

'My friend and I stayed here for four nights.
The guest house is nice, clean and meets needs all the basic needs. No extravagant luxury, however what makes this place truly amazing is:
- We were welcomed by the friendly hosts and had the feeling of being their private guests in their own home. Airport pick up was pre-arranged by email and we was met at the arrival by our driver, absolutely trouble-free (USD 68/ 3 hrs)
- The garden is stunning and perfect for relaxing while listening to the...

'The location was amazing! But that is about it. The sheets had stains on them, so did the towels, the fridge was moldy and warm, it said breakfast was included which we never got. Happy we only spent a night here, would not have spent more'

'Ontbijt was goed, maar eenzijdig. Elke dag hetzelfde. Personeel prima en vriendelijk. Schone kamer en de was keurig verzorgd.
De nachtwaker vriendelijke oudere man. Al het personeel nog dezelfde mensen als 2 jaar geleden. Ook zij waren tevreden en altijd bereid. Zwembad niet geprobeerd.'

'We have just returned from a two week stay at this little paradise and can honestly say we loved every second. The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. WiFi and air conditioning are excellent. The team that work at the villa are exceptional. Kind, genuine and welcoming, they make Taru Villa 906 what it is. 'We stayed here twice in a week. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the location as well. One of the few good quality accommodations near beruwala.
This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible.
They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation.
Highly recommend for travellers and business in the area. '
