'Cute little cabins with tiny pond. Clean shared toilet and shower. Do be deterred by the name The “Dirty Skillet” restaurant on property was amazing! Cute outdoor restaurant with a wonderful ambience and delicious food.'

'Outside of town, nice to be away from all the hubbub but still close enough to resupply easily. Pack in and out essentially. Good kitchenette accomodations (plates, cookware, salt/pepper, coffee fixings). Great little place to get away. 2 small cons: Payment was required much sooner than check in, which I didn't expect when booking through Expedia. The propane tank we dead empty, so I had to refill in town. Even then, the grill barely warmed up to cook out shrimp.'

'Great house. The location is perfect for exploring the peninsula. A bbq outside for preparing the fish we caught at kasilof. The owners came out to welcome us. Great experience.'

'Plenty of space in the unit we stayed in. The place is older but very clean and comfortable. Extra towels available for our group. Plenty of places for fishing nearby and their freezer space was convenient. Will be back in the future.'

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'What a great spot to unwind! The location is even more impressive in person than the pictures show - plus we had the benefit of observing the sockeye spawning in the river which made it that much more stunning. The house was super comfy and well equipped - we appreciated all the inside space and the carport on rainy days and the porch and firepit were amazing when the rain finally stopped. We found lots to do in the area, from guided fishing to fishing right out front, glacier tours in Seward,...
