'Plenty of space in the unit we stayed in. The place is older but very clean and comfortable. Extra towels available for our group. Plenty of places for fishing nearby and their freezer space was convenient. Will be back in the future.'

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'We enjoyed our stay at the Pinecone Palace. It was a great location, close to many hiking trails and lakes as well as to the local restaurants in Seward. Host communicated well and made everything easy.'

The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. We’d definitely come back again for another family getaway'

'The salmon house was a lovely and comfortable place with everything by you could need for a stay. My Dad and I stayed 2 nights and were very happy. The beds were comfortable, everything was extremely clean and it has a nice view of the mountains to the west. Lori was an amazing host and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this location for your next trip to Seward. '
