'Constantly hears the freeway noise. Air conditioner was noisy and the breakfast was cold served. Only 1 elevator to access all floors was a bit of a wait. Lounge chair was very stained and gross. Not sitting in it at all. Bathroom is a bit tight. Property constantly smelled of smoke and the doors propped open for frequent employee smoke breaks right close to the entrance.'

'Exterior was falling appart, no hangers, no breakfast, and the exterior door did not lock.'

'Very clean and spacious room. No one was at the office when I arrived and that was a bit disconcerting. Didn't know what to do as it was locked and someone pulled up. There's a number to call and they said it was a wrong number. Otherwise room was clean and quite. Will use again. No vending machines..'

'Very pretty hotel, definitely seems to be newer. The room was nice, but had an almost damp feel to it...bed was comfy, or we were just so exhausted we crashed. Shower pressure is low but the shower itself is super nice! Don't get the rooms right near the elevators, you hear the hum of them moving. Overall, I'd stay again, just not close to the elevators.'

'Very nice hotel. The only problem I had was the noise level in my room. The guests in the next room watched TV and the sound penetrated into my room very clearly. I could easily hear that they were watching reruns of Friends. This was pretty annoying and I might have asked for a change of rooms, but they eventually turned off the TV and I had no further issues. My feeling was that there was insufficient insulation to deaden the sound between rooms.'

'Our stay here exceeded my expectations! The manager was always smiling and willing to help with anything my family or I needed. Everything was very clean. Will definitely stay here again when we visit, no doubt about that!'

'I’ve stayed here before so know the hotel pretty well. The pool was closed for maintenance, which I can’t fault them or the site for, and even though it was one of the main reasons for picking this hotel it didn’t make much difference to our trip. The hotel still has the old name on the sign, which threw me for a moment, but the picture is the same. The rooms need a little bit of work but for what we needed it was good.'

'We didn't arrive until late. When we got there the place was freezing cold. There was an AC wlindow unit that had a heat setting. After 15 minutes it was still blowing cool air. So we saw a space heater. When we plugged the space heater in, it blew the breaker. We decided to just use the space heater since the window unit was blowing cool air. We were exhausted so we went to bed. The space heater said it was 52 degrees. There was no thermostat so Im guessing it was fairly accurate. Least to...

'Everything was great room was clean. Checkin was fast and efficient. Breakfast next morning was small but ok. Maybe in summer they enlarged it wife miss her biscuit and gravy.'

'We loved the knotty pine paneling, appreciated the inspiring picture/mottoes on the walls, and a really comfy bed. Cumberland Falls, Pine Mountain State Park, and the Cumberland Gap National Park were conveniently nearby. Everything in the kitchen worked (and we prepared significant meals there!) [Did not use Wi-Fi or TV — we came to get away]'

'Place was great and peaceful. 2 places to enjoy the outdoors. Tucked away nicely on the hillside. Would love to stay there again. '
