'Off-grid cabin. Generator. Felt like we had the whole daniel boone national forest to ourselves. Was perfect for the 2 of us. Renter was great. If you like solitude this is your place. Lots of peace in those hills.'

'Wonderful place to stay! And Steve, the owner, was so nice and helpful! The views were incredible. We went boating, kayaking, swimming, sat out by a fire in the fire pit at night, went out to eat and to see the Abraham Lincoln / Civil War Museum. On our boat we explored many of the rivers attached to the lake. Sitting out on the deck was so beautiful and peaceful. 'Such a cute cozy cabin. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for my hubs and I. Host was fantastic to deal with. Very good at communicating, super helpful and just all around a super nice and welcoming person. Housekeeping was spotless! Housekeeper was very accomodating, helpful and friendly. 10 out of 5 stars. 'Check in was great and easy! The kitchen was great filled with everything that you needed! Living space was very specious. We had our 3 children and they enjoyed the pool area! Everyone loved the dog and the family was absolutely great! Definitely recommend and hopefully we are able to visit again! '

'Beautiful up the mountain, off grid experience while still having having power and hot water, just amazing. Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Wished we had more time to enjoy and explore! No issues with check in, kitchen well equipped, internet. Ricky responded quickly and very helpful. Great place for a quiet escape! Definitely recommend! 10/10!'

'I think I would exceed the limit if I listed all the little details that make this place special. It was so clean, I questioned if we were the first visitors in this home. It was so unique but homey and so comfortable! Things were labeled so you didn’t guess how something worked. Everything I could’ve needed was in this home. The best part was that this home was owned by Uncle Ernie and the way the owners honored him was so special. I felt like I knew him just by staying there. I can’t say...
