'The hotel and lake view in the new tower side was very satisfying.'

'While, the lodge is charming, our room was freezing. We had the fireplace and heat as high as it would go. the room never got above 60. There was no blanket on our bed and no blankets were available in our room. The desk was unmanned after 11 and phone messages were unanswered. Hopefully, this issue has been corrected. '

'Checking in was awful as they tried to sell us a more expensive room with all kinds of excuses. Fine if you want to upgrade us for free, but don’t start with all the nonsense. The rooms are in need of an update. Would not stay here again.'

'Hotel and room nice and clean as per Hampton Inn as usual, no issues. Only issue was the lady at check-in, seemingly no idea how to talk to customers, not social at all. Not the first impression one wants upon entering a hotel.'

'My room smelled of cat pee. My coffee maker did not work at all. The breakfast they served was just unbeatable. I had to ask them to change my sheets and empty my trash!! The vending machines were nowhere near acceptable! The night manager was rude! The floor i was on smelled of pure weed!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!! '

'It looked like a 2-star hotel, I did not expect this. Everything looks pretty run down and old. A lot of doors also corroded, washroom has plumbing issues, hot water takes a while to come. Overall, unless the hotel is renovated, I cannot recommend '
