'This was easily one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever survived. Check-in started strong with after waiting 30+ min staff telling me I didn’t even have a reservation of the room with garden tub (shoutout to Expedia for apparently having imaginary photos of rooms). After settling, we got a room that smelled like a mix of gas station weed and straight-up farts. Amenities? Questionable. The hot tub had commitment issues (half the jets didn’t work), and the “heated” pool felt like an ice bath...

'This was the second most best up place I’ve ever stayed at in the USA. No elevator and no rooms available on the first floor so my back hurts from carrying my super heavy suitcase up the stairs. It barely passed the test as somewhere I would sleep as it had clean sheets and most things appeared to be wiped down, but the floors (although uncarpeted which I greatly prefer as it avoids terrible odors etc)were pretty nasty with all kinds of smudges, scrapes, goobery stuff, the walls were...

'The service was okay, but unfortunately, when it came to cleanliness, it was a disaster. The furniture in the room was completely covered in dust—you could actually write in it. Behind the TV, when I ran my finger along the base, the dust clumped up and turned into something strange—almost as if someone had sprinkled tiny bits of fake cotton wool there. It was the exact same situation on the lamps and the crossbars connecting the desk.'
