'Perfect weekend getaway. It was quiet, peaceful and serene. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was a spectacular view. A place you definitely will hate to leave. The owner stayed in contact with suggestions and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Loved every minute and plan to go back. '

'Our stay was pleasant, especially with our dog. Check in process, communication, and check out we're all great. The house is near one of the creekway walkways, which was great for long walks with the dog. Would definitely stay again.'

'Great property that is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics you might need during your stay. Highly recommended adding the golf cart rental to get down to the dock! All of the activities on the dock and at the house kept our crew ranging from 9-50 years old entertained the entire time! We will be back!'

'We stayed for a week to celebrate our 42nd anniversary in September. Off-season is very quiet and relaxing. The home is well equipped for dinning and cooking. The seating is very comfortable. The decor is very pleasing with unique light fixtures and the owner's photography. The upper deck and lower porch have plenty of seating with plush cushions.Our only concern was the poorly lit in-ground flagstone steps to the front door with no handrail. 'Great cabin - beautifully updated, spacious, and well—appointed. The hosts were great and the property and house have a ton to offer. Nice and quiet spot but super convenient to Lynchburg. Very highly recommend this for a great get-away stay. '

'This house has everything! We enjoyed the screened porch each morning with coffee and the lake view. The neighborhood was great for walking the dog. We enjoyed the Bodega close by and the live music at the marina. The town of Winchester is adorable! '

'Such a cool unique property with something for everyone! We have 3 very different teens and EVERYONE had a blast. The house? Cool 70’s vibe with modern amenities. Good wifi. But the authenticity of the house takes you back! House is well stocked & clean. Hosts were very responsive when we had a slight hiccup. Very kind & helpful. Gorgeous property…you have to see it for yourself. A lil slice of heaven. We will be back! '

'We had a great time during our stay at this home. It was very clean and well furnished. It was the perfect setting for our family get-away. The kids loved the game room and the kitchen/living area was very nice for cooking/gathering. The dock was very nice with the swing, slide, and kayaks. The owner/manager communicated with us often to ensure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this house for a nice, relaxing vacation.'
