'Our 11 nights stay in the cabin was great. Very rustic, peaceful surroundings with a great view. Everything was in the cabin. Sadly we did not get to meet the owners. Downtown Nashville is 45 min drive. The area has plenty of restaurants and shops within 30 min. A real recommendation for a couple who needs a quit time. Ronald and Sandra the Netherlands'

'Quiet waterfront property. Bring your own sharp knives, or a sharpener! Trails nearby, but some gave dogs ticks (even though they are medicated). Luckily the stores nearby had a comb to get them off. Host was really fast at communicating. We plan on going back! '

'Oude caravan die muf ruikt. Geen airco in 1 van de slaapkamers. Lekkende kranen, gat in de muur van de badkamer, kapotte plinten overal. Geen wifi tenzij je plat tegen het raam staat op het trapje. Waterdruk te weinig voor het douchen. Eigenaar neemt de klachten niet serieus. '

'River was awesome. Property amazing. This place is all you need for a weekend at the lake. The town was very nice. '

'A beautiful home that worked great for our family of 14 (grandparents, parents, adult children) and our yellow lab. We visited Mammoth cave (highly recommend domes and dripstones tour!).'

'We made a mistake in timing and ended up getting to the property late-- it's a little hard to find in the dark, and we apparently aren't good with electronic locks. But the host answered our phone call immediately, was super easy to communicate with, and once we figured that all out, we loved the cabin. It is in a wooded area and on the shore of the lake, so you need to be prepared it won't be spotless (that is impossible), but it was beautiful, well- stocked, and the beds were clean and...

'Beautiful country setting. The host was so helpful. He sent us pictures of his driveway so we could make sure our car trailer would fit and clear the trees along the driveway. He even went over before we arrived and trimmed the trees along the driveway so none of the branches would scratch our trailer. The house was very clean plus the kitchen had paper towel, k-cups, sugar, creamer, dish soap, so many extras. Our stay was very.comfortable. We highly recommend this property. '

'Property was very clean. Private location with friendly neighbors. Nice view of Barren River Lake from back deck.I would rent this property again. Log cabin is decorated with antiques with a nice taste!'

'House was close to lake, marinas and Barren Lake State Park. Property exactly as descriptions by owners. Very clean and well kept. Met owners who were really nice . We will return. Everyone in family enjoyed the trip. '

'This house was perfect for a three night stay for a wedding. The house had the perfect layout with two bedrooms on the main floor and one upstairs. The kids had the upstairs with a tv and games. The rest of the house was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip. '

'Dotti was absolutely amazing! We stayed here for Softball Nationals at Drakes Creek Park with myself, mother, and three 17 year old girls and there was more than enough space. The house was absolutely gorgeous! Coffee on the front porch every morning and taking in the sunset every night made us never want to leave. The area is quiet, relaxing, and just far enough from the busy highway to really take in the scenery. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dotti during our stay and she was so...
