'We came into the area for the Haltfield and McCoy Half Marathon. It was conveniently located to the race finish and the packet pickup. Otherwise, it would have been an hour drive from Pikeville or Logan, WV. It was charming and just perfect for our needs. The bonus was allowing dogs to stay on the premises. The train didn’t bother us at all.'

We did a lot of sightseeing, so we didn't get a chance to fish the lake that's well within walking distance, but heard it is a great fishing lake. 'Really great property if you’re interested in riding outlaw trails! It was perfect for us as the Hatfield and McCoy is a bit busy and very groomed. Leave your trailer at the suite and ride right to trails, food, gas ect. Julie had a tablet with trail maps for us to rent which was awesome. The suite is cute, clean, and spacious.
