'Family and friends drove up to spend a long weekend near Higgins Lake. We’ve headed up north for years and have never stayed near Higgins. Beautiful lake! The house is clean and comfortable and a relaxing space for our home base. Great kitchen. We would stay here again. Thank you for sharing it.'

'Awesome up north get away! Very close proximity to the lake and state park! Easy check in process with everything we needed for our stay! Perfect little outdoor area to enjoy a bbq, bonfires and yard games after a day on the water! Host was very responsive, nice, and helpful! Would definitely stay again! '

'Came up to the area for a weekend of golf at Forest Dunes. The home is beautiful. Everything was well appointed and thought out. Beds are very comfortable and fire pit area was awesome to sit by and enjoy a beverage and talk. The owners were great and made it very easy to work with. I highly recommend this property.'

'The hosts are hands down the best I’ve ever stayed with. The property and experience were nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. 'Awesome newly redone property. Easily parked our boat in the drive, close to both Higgins and Houghton Lake. We are avid road cyclists and the location allowed us to take off each morning for 25-40 mile rides on beautiful paved roads. Highly recommend this property. Will definitely reserve property again if we are looking for a rental in this area. '

'We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had a great time!! The cabin vibe was just amazing and we had one with a balcony overlooking the water with beautiful sunsets/sunrises. Just a short drive to Traverse City and would love to come back in the warmer months next time.'

'Perfect place for a comfortable and affordable stay in Harrison. The cabins are well appointed and clean. No complaints here. The location isnt ideal , just off hwy but if looking for a nice place i would recommend. '
