'Nothing to like. We were shocked to see we had booked a secluded motel that was in rough shape. The new management is working on the property and trying to improve it but they have a long way to go. Rooms were very small with oversized desk. TV box hanging from back of TV. Small cubby for fold up bed with insufficient bedding. Had to keep asking for towels which were thin and old. No hair dryer in room. Once obtained it was a wall mount dryer that was not mounted. Very unsettling but had to make...

This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town.
