'We love this house. It’s big and airy; it has a deluxe shower; and the kitchen is great. We enjoy off-road adventuring, and Cedarville is the perfect home base for exploring the Warner Mountains to the west and the gorgeous high desert to the east. 'This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. 'My wife and I were amazed and absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitable nature of this home! We could not have felt more welcome! In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year!
