'Charming cabin with lots of beautiful architectural details. Obvious that while it may have some history it is well loved. Beautiful spot on the creek which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere despite the fact that restaurants & shops are a quick easy walk from the cabin. 'Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. 'We had a wonderful time at Mama Bear‘s cabin. It’s such a comfortable property. Everything worked well, and we loved the hot tub. The beds were extremely comfortable too! We would definitely like to come back and stay again. '

'Really lovely place for a group with an exceptional dock for easy access to the lake. Kitchen has all amenities that you would need to make every meal at home. Great communication with the hosts. 'The little log cabin was perfect for me and my teen daughter. It felt private, the surroundings were beautiful. It was in a perfect location to explore the Yuba and Nevada City. The kitchen was basic but it had everything we needed. '

'Perfect property for our family gathering! House was great for accommodating multiple family groups. Loved the big dining room table for bringing folks together. The property has great hiking trails (although you need to watch out for poison oak). Alicia and Michael were very helpful giving us the info we needed to get the most out of our stay.
