'West River House was a pleasant surprise. It has a hostel vibe. The room was clean and the bed / pillows are very comfortable. We were most impressed with the detailed instructions for everything including parking, shower use, check in and checkout. We enjoyed the balcony as well. The location was great for us as we came to ride bikes and enjoy Truckee Thursday. '

'Great location downtown. Staff helped us store luggage for a few hours. We got the room with its own bathroom and it was great for the one night we were there.'

'Great Hotel off I-80 with many convenient stores fast food and restaurants within walking distance . Close to old town Auburn with a few miles . Room was very updated and comfortable and clean . Would stay here again.'

'I had checked out this hotel ahead. they gave me a newly refurbished room, it was quiet and clean. Its a short drive to downtown. I didn't walk it but i believe you can. I was attending an event at navada fairgrounds in grass valley it was perfect just 10 mins. '

'This property is really a hidden gem of a hotel. The rates are very reasonable and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The property even has a natural waterfall and a fern grotto which is extraordinary. The rooms are older but very clean and well maintained. Also the beds are very comfortable. The room also has a small refrigerator and microwave. All in all this is a place you should really consider. I know i would definitely come back. '

'Our stay was short but we enjoyed it very much. Extremely prime location especially for young families, clean, tidy and useful amenities. Tesla charging station is a plus. We would stay there again. '

'A gorgeous historic hotel centrally located to shopping and restaurants. The hotel bar and restaurant were excellent. We opted for the King Studio and had a nice sized room. Others in our party had small rooms with queen sized beds. We will definitely will return. '
