'The home is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood with trees and flowering bushes about. Upon entering the home, one was struck by its simple elegance. We've stayed at many rented homes and this one by far had the best kitchen ware, which made cooking for our family a dream! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms (with full baths) were gorgeous! 'We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. 'The home was really great. Only two issues. The downstairs bathroom sink faucet is broken. If we turned the water on below the sink, water came out of the faucet but you couldn’t use the faucet to turn it on and off. So was just a pain to turn water on and off below the sink. And then just be sure to use the large coffeepot. The little one is defective. Started to work but never filled the pot. '

The kitchen with large central island was a favorite for hanging out, eating and playing games. The kitchen is appointed with luxury appliances.
