'We enjoyed a wonderful week at the beachfront guesthouse in Naia, hosted by Valerie and Pascalle who live in the main house on the property. They were great hosts who were around to say hello but gave us space and privacy to enjoy our stay in the peaceful and unspoilt surroundings. Not to mention the stunning reef full of marine life right at your feet. About 40 mins drive from the airport, a hire car is essential to get to the guesthouse and out and about. The nearest supermarket is about 20...

'We had a wonderful stay and the property new is away. A magnificent house on a beautiful property beside the water. Great deck and alfresco, including a commercial out door kitchen, massive wood pizza oven, all beside a clean fresh water pool. Laze in the pool and look across the lawn at the palms to the sea. So many areas to relax / entertain and immaculate tropical gardens. Our host Lilou is an amazing host and went over and above to see that we enjoyed our stay.We also had lovely weather...

'We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in Villa Nia. Pascal, the owner, was there to greet us on our first day - very friendly and helpful. He even offered us the use of his car to run to the shops to get groceries on that first day however the shops are only a 15 minute walk away so we chose to walk instead. AnsaVata beach is an easy 20 minute walk away and the bus stop to take us to centre ville only an 8 minute walk away. Perfect location to get every where we wanted to go. The house was...

'Great place to get away from the world and just chill. Had an awesome time and our 20 month year old had a ball. Plenty of turtles to see while we ate outside, and although an avid fisherman, was great just feeding the multiply pan sized fish off the deck. Catch and release for me this round.... '

'La maison et l'hôte sont très bien. La maison est très propre et toute équipée. Marie est très gentille et nous a apporté des délicieux fruits de son jardin (bananes, pamplemousse, avocat). Le gros problème vient de la plateforme de réservation Abritel ou VRBO qui n'avait pas payé mon hôte à notre départ après 6 semaines passées sur place. J'ai eu de nombreuses discussions dont je me serai bien passé avec mon hôte sur les problèmes de paiement avec la plateforme et les justificatifs hallucinants...

"The location is nice if you want to spend time in Noumea, but it is a longer drive to get out of the centre. During the weekends, there is a lot of noise from the surrounding area (bars), till 23:00 or even midnight. It was unclear at the time of booking, that there was no cleaning service offered. I was given 1 roll of toilet paper only! WiFi was free for only one day. Rubbish was not collected from the room. Much noise from the corridors. I had a cockroach in the room. The room itself was nice, but very outdated in terms of furniture and equipment. People smoking weed on the balconies. There was limited parking space. Overall, the place could have been much nicer if services were provided in the rooms, and the place would be refurbished. The staff itself were friendly!"
