'A little way out of town but only a few minutes in a hire car. We were met at the airport with the car and shown the way to the units. Having the car organised by the motel made everything simple but the car was rather old and a bit battered. OK for the very short drives on the island. Large unit which would have been ideal for a family with three single beds upstairs and a nice kitchen and pool. Our bed was a bit hard. 'Booked for a week. Had only one roll of TP. Had a few cockroaches and can of Raid was only good for one spray. Road noise because Apartment was right on road and cars coming uphill were sometimes very noisy. Water leak around toilet. Lounge room chairs and lounge not comfortable to sit in. Price was good and location close to most attractions but would not return.'

'The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and plenty of towels, facewashers available. Eateries were close by. An easy walk to town.'

'We loved location, the outlook was lovely, and it was quiet. Beds were comfortable. Handy to shops and dining options. Car was included with the Unit. Enjoyed our stay at Cascade Gardens'

'The place is a building site. There was no hot water the first night. The water out of the taps had sediment in it. I had to buy drinking water. Builders started power tools at 7.15am on two mornings. Tour buses did not pick up from this place.'

'A very large private house with the most spectacular views. We had a very relaxing week with some beautiful walks and hot tub and saunas to come back to at the end of the day. Staff were very extremely friendly and helpful at check in and throughout our stay. Would recommend to large family or friend group.'

'The view was fantastic and we had a couple of spectacular sunsets. To be able to sit on the balcony with that view was incredible. It overlooks the historic Kingston, so a few kms out of town but still some good eating options close by. Definitely need a car. Would use them again if possible.'

'Older accommodation. Clean, spacious, beds comfortable, full kitchen facilities. Didn't see the "rain shower head" in the bathroom though :) . There was however a shower curtain that liked to "get up close and personal". Would be no good for elderly as car parking was 50 meters from the units down a steep grassy hill and poorly lit. 'Comfortable,quiet, secluded house suitable for group of friends as we each had our own bedroom and plenty of space to relax separately or hang out together. Enjoyed having breakfast and afternoon drinks on the verandah watching the silver terns roost in the pine tree. Maintenance and cleanliness of property could be improved though.
