'I have loved staying there over the years. But I’m done. For the price I can stay at a hotel and not have to worry about bringing bedsheets, linens and everything else. additionally it is now quite dated. Could use some repairs. There was a wasp nest over our front cabin door and the biting flies stopped me from getting my steps in.'

'The location made this stay worth it. Every room has a balcony facing the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. The weather was beautiful and ocean views and sound worth it. There was direct access from the hotel to the boardwalk as well. We were on the 3rd floor so I felt secure but understand there are some "sights" you will see walking down the boardwalk that might give you concern. Also, we stayed during off-season (Oct 7 - 9) so the area was not crowded at all.'

'First there was a refundable fee due at check in that I was not made aware of until AFTER I booked. It was refunded without issue. It was nice to have a physical key for the room instead of electronic. Heavy doors, sturdy stairs. I never heard anyone else while we were there. Location and parking were excellent. The bathroom and room were better in person than photos which was very nice. Owner was friendly, very chatty. I’ve read negative things about his wife- but I had no complaints. She just...
