'We had a fantastic time, with so much to do outdoors, our 5 boys had no problem falling asleep completely exhausted at the end of the day. It’s a mix between “Glamping” and “camping” the cabin was super cute. Has a full fridge and microwave, with an outdoor grill. There’s no toilets or running water in the cabin, but the main lodge has showers and toilets and a full kitchen to use, and the cabin is like 50 feet from it. We had a blast and the kids have asked to come back here every year from now...

'Quiet location, easy access to lots of Michigan outdoor activities. Wide open space with lots of beds (7-8 beds total, but limited privacy). We were primarily just looking for a place to sleep and it fit the bill perfectly. Billiards table to enjoy. Lots of seating and lots of space if you had a larger group. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Easy to tidy up since it's all linoleum flooring.'

'You might want to do more research before you book here. FYI this cabin does not have a bathroom. It is situated on an old Boy Scout Camp, and the bathroom facility is in the main lodge of the camp. There is a cabin within just a couple feet of this one, so there isn’t any privacy. The manager was kind, and since our stay did not match the description of the property, he did work with us to make it right.'

'We had 10 adults and two children (under 3) and this property checked all our boxes for space, privacy, access to 'safe' swimming water and boat access. Truly a perfect spot for a large group that wants to hang together.'

'Just went for a quick weekend to visit friends and although we didn’t take advantage of all the cool things the property had (hot tub/fire pit), it was everything as described. Well appointed, clean with fun decor. All in all a cute place. '

'Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!'

'A friend of mine from college met me up at Higgins Lake and we had a great time. The cottage provided everything we could possibly need except for a K cup coffee maker cause that wasn’t the only coffee we had but it turns out some coffee was in the freezer so we were all set. The weather was perfect for not having an air conditioner, which I had missed seeing that it did not have air conditioning, but it worked out very well because the outside temperature stayed in the low 70s.
